Organizational and technical requirements for the procedure of storage, use and revocation of machine-readable powers of attorney

The Government continues to improve the rules governing the storage and provision of machine-readable powers of attorney (hereinafter, "MPOs") in electronic form. This time the amendments concern organizational and technical requirements for the procedure for storing and using PPMs and the procedure for transmitting information to the Unified State Information System. Particular attention is paid to the procedure for cancelling the CDM and the terms for storing information about it, as well as to strengthening the role of information system operators. Some of the amendments will become effective on 01.03.2024.

In the EZh-Jurist newspaper Alexey Stanchin, Senior Tax Consultant at Tax Compliance, commented on the Russian Government Resolution No. 148 dated 12.09.2023, which regulates the procedure for storing and providing machine-readable powers of attorney in electronic form.
