Senior Tax Consultant Nikita Zharov took part in the expert session on "Goods of the Week: Novelties in the Legal Regulation of Retail". The experts also included representatives of federal ministries and industry associations.

The participants discussed the topical issues of legal regulation of retailing, in particular: 
  • Prospects for the development of the domestic retail market under the economic sanctions of 2022.
  • New challenges for e-commerce regulation in 2022;
  • The policy of price regulation.
  • The fate of product labeling in 2022.


During the session Nikita spoke about tax administration in the retail sector in 2022, in particular about practical issues related to the allocation of the IT function within the Group, and the prospects for tax benefits in the IT sector.
