On 27 September Pravo.ru conference ‘Tax Policy and Tax Disputes - 2024’ was held, where experts shared key results in the field of taxation for the current year. 

TC tax consultant Sergey Ivanov spoke about tax problems of companies with a foreign element in the second session. In the fourth session, Anastasia Arzhanova, TC tax consultant, spoke on the topic of taxation of operations involving the increase of charter capital of Russian organisations with foreign investments at the expense of retained earnings. 

The conference included the debate ‘To Each According to His Possibilities? ’ Differentiated Taxation System - Prospects of Introduction in Russia’. Such a taxation system has contradictions that divide society into its opponents and those who, unlike the former, approve of its introduction. The position of Alexey Stanchin, Head of Tax Practice at TC, could be learnt during the fifth session.
