On December 17, the Federal Tax Service of Russia held a meeting of the Advisory Council on taxation of foreign investors and commercial organizations with foreign investments. Head of the Federal Tax Service of Russia Daniil Egorov discussed topical tax issues with business representatives during the event.

Mikhail Begunov, Managing Partner of Tax Compliance, attended the meeting as one of the representatives of the China Committee for the Promotion of International Trade.

The key topics for discussion were the upcoming tax changes in 2025, building a fair tax system, as well as the creation and development of a platform for interaction between BRICS member countries. 

During the meeting it was noted that business is particularly interested in receiving clarifications on the application of tax legislation in the field of transfer pricing, currency regulation and fulfillment of the obligation to provide country reports. 

Twenty representatives from five major chambers of commerce took part in the face-to-face meeting. About 300 representatives of foreign businesses joined the event online.
