On 6 September Sochi hosted the Jubilee Legal Forum of the South of Russia. As part of a rich business programme, lawyers discussed issues that are currently of concern to businesses: approval of transactions with unfriendly parties, redomiciliation and deprivatisation lawsuits. 

At the business platform Tax Compliance partner Andrey Solomyanyi spoke on the topic «Tax Compliance - a tool for minimising tax risks, including in M&A transactions». In his speech the expert noted: «In our practice we have noticed negative trends: when the tax authorities start paying attention to the taxpayer, it is difficult to search for certain documents. Because they are stored scattered or in poor quality. It takes a lot of time to summarise the data and present it to the tax authority». 

Head of Tax Compliance practice Alexey Stanchin answered the questions: «Who is responsible for a company's tax mistakes? How to minimise management's tax risks?». 

The forum participants are an established community of professionals: top managers of companies, partners of leading law firms.
